A family entrusted us with the complete redevelopment of their property located on the heights of Nice, in the Cimiez district. The land is part of the grounds of the Villa d’Orangini, a former Italianate residence once surrounded by a vast five-hectare park, now divided into private residences.
Our clients, a couple with children, undertook a complete renovation of their home, both inside and out. They called on our landscape design firm to redesign the entire garden and create a warm, functional living space that was directly connected to the house.
Our mission was to design a family-friendly outdoor space, centered around large terraces, a swimming pool, and a pétanque court.
The project was carried out in close collaboration with the clients, their interior designer, and our team of craftsmen. The main challenge was to create a seamless continuity between the interior and exterior, both practically and aesthetically.
We designed a garden with a Provençal garrigue feel , drawing on a typically Mediterranean plant palette, with rich and varied seasonal blooms. The grasses, chosen for their movement and lightness, bring a spontaneous and natural touch. The integration of rocks and large mineral slabs structures the space, creates contrasts with the plants and underlines the authentic and lively character of the garden.
Thanks to the dedication of each participant and the excellent taste of our client, the property has been completely transformed. Today, it offers a harmonious example of a contemporary Provençal garden, elegant and in perfect harmony with the architecture of the house.
